Bullhorn them, requesting that they show you the law (NOT THE TAX CODE) that requires you to pay income tax :)
That's not my bag, man......but a pretty good idea.

I was thinking that I should do something funny. Something that would either make the feds (gangsters) back down or arrest me ...... but funny.

I think we could call it ..."Tilting at Windmills" .... when we take on the feds (mafia) as one person or a small group.

We are fantastic at empire building, only it's not the Roman/British model that everyone is used to.  Instead of demanding tribute from subject peoples, we float our debt to them....trillions and trillions of dollars worth.  The floated debt substitutes for the tribute empires in prior centuries sucked out of conquered people.  The debt is then funneled into war materiel, which equips more than a thousand American military outposts around the globe...lots of FRN's for the suppliers.  We spend more on war goodies than the rest of the world put together.  Check out Empire of Debt by William Bonner & Addison Wiggin http://www.dailyreckoning.com/  It will probably be a very short-lived empire, but for those who had their three-score-and-ten between 1920 and 1990, it was quite a ride.

Precisely, Marcy. It is all about ruling the world/empire economically. Troops are only used in special circumstances, (when threats don't work).

It isn't DESIGNED to be a long-lived empire, Marcy.  The people doing this are far from stupid.  The US is the lynchpin in the attempt to institute global government.  They control the third world through the use of the IMF and US aggression against anyone who beats to the tune of their own drummer.  The "industrialized" nations have all been coopted by the same forces who have coopted the US political system:  the globalists who are intent on one world government, and particularly one world currency.

Sucking Iraq dry of oil doesn't serve their purposes, but controlling the distribution of oil does.

True, Caleb, the US empire will be folded into the One-World Empire.

Tilting at Windmills

It is time to send the Federal thugs packing from our fair city. The US government is killing people around the world to expand its power base. It is using our neighbors as cannon fodder and your money to accomplish the the evil deed. They are building an empire on our backs and in our names. They are imprisoning or killing those that oppose them. Enough is enough.

Ghandi called his non-cooperation with evil a campaign of civil disobedience. I am calling it "Tilting at Windmills". An individual seems powerless against the lone global superpower, but it is the individual consent of everyone that empowers them. So the power is in our hands to bring down this rotten government.

We have a few offices in Keene that hold employees of the United States. The IRS office is above the post office. The SS Administration has an office near the central square. And the military recruiters are down on Winchester street. I have chosen to begin with the IRS. I will interfere with the "work" being done in that office. I will be asking the employees to quit or leave our city. Hopefully we can make people laugh as we attack these fortresses on the outskirts of the empire.

If you would like to join me, we will be planning our actions on Tuesday nights at 7pm at our regular meeting. Give me a call @ 357-2049 if you would like to join the Nonviolent Revolution.

How about that for the paper?

Hey Russell, I just watched the Noncooperation presentation from Porcfest 2006 on the '05-'06 activism DVD.

It was very good, and quite inspirational.  Julia and I just sat there saying, "Yes!" to everything you were saying.  8)

Gandhi called his non-cooperation with evil a campaign of civil disobedience. I am calling it "Tilting at Windmills". An individual seems powerless against the lone global superpower, but it is the individual consent of each of us that enables them. So the power is in our hands to bring down this rotten government.

And the military recruiters are down on Winchester street. I have chosen to begin with the IRS. Jesus Christ overturned the moneychangers tables. I will try to turn over the tax collectors desks. Hopefully we can make people laugh as we attack these fortresses on the outskirts of the empire. After we charge the Federalies with homemade shields and lances, we can pick ourselves up and do it again.

"Those who profess to favor freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will." ? Frederick Douglass

"What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?" - Gandhi

Cool!

I'd like to hand out funny brochures for the IRS office staff
advising them of their moral standing in the eyes of the taxpayers,
and giving local employment companies,
what to tell their families when they resign ect.

Here's my first draft:

WHEN THE REVOLUTION COMES?
We want you to be safe.
People are being taxed too heavily.  People are being assaulted in their own homes by government men.  People are in prison who have harmed no one.

When the citizen has withdrawn allegiance and the office holder has resigned, the revolution will be complete - Thoreau

WHAT ABOUT MY FAMILY?
(picture of happy family)

Your family looks to you for guidance and inspiration in addition to food and shelter.  Your family can be:
?   Safer from anti-government backlash.
?   At ease knowing they don?t profit from innocent people?s injury.
?   Just say to them:
?I will not work to hurt people anymore.?

Page 4__________________________________________________________

WHAT ABOUT MY PENSION?
After your many years of acting as the hands of government, how will it act towards you?  Expect the same hard-ass treatment it taught you to inflict on others.  The government has no loyalty to you and no way to fulfill its promises.  The treasury can?t afford it and the politicians can?t write more blank checks.
The only real security you or anyone else has is the good will of your neighbors.
(picture of an elderly man sanding furniture)
So be nice to your neighbors.
?   Don?t snoop in their business
?   Don?t threaten them with fines.
?   Don?t schedule them for mock trials
?   Don?t call down armed goons on them.

You might want to take the part out about up against the wall..... .it does say non violent about 4 lines after that.  Also it may sound threatening.

FTL_Ian

At what point should we start an ostracism campaign against bureaucrats and their families?

"Sorry, I can't sell to you, according to my list you work for the federal government."

"Oh, Timmy can't play with Bobby until you quit working for the feds, Mr. Smith."

Caleb

Excellent idea, Ian.

We need to make association with the feds a "scarlet letter"

Caleb

Does that mean that we should put all the government workers on this forum on "ignore"?  :D

I really like it.
How do we say that we can't control everyone else and bad stuff could happen to government workers someday? It might not be us....but they might not be safe.
How could we work in something about how government workers in the 3rd Reich thought they had a pension too?
