Click on his link "survival foods"

These will save you a lot of money and health even if you never use them for survival purposes, and they reduce your environmental footprint.

I make the cream of wheat sprouts and the soup a  lot, wonderful stuff.

Like my grandmother always told us. "Try one bite before you say you don't like it. You might be pleasantly surprised."

Sorry, Grandma.

Yeah and I might like to experiance water hammer too.

I read some of his articles under Controversy and he sounds like a big pro-government guy and really hates anti-government people. Actually, I get the impression that he really hates people in general but he hates groups that hate people even more and he thinks that people who want less government are bad people and that they want less government because they hate people and so he hates them a lot... in his Senate hearing he told the commitee that we should all be put to sleep or blown up (he wrote a book on how to make bombs specifically for this purpose, well, he wanted to blow up lefties too but also anyone who doesn't like government)!  :o

I'll record the 3-cent breakfast for when I go to college.

I tried the cream of wheat sprouts and it was quite tasty.

Kat, did you sprout your own wheat? Recently? I saw some untreated seeds for sprouting at the store. What are they untreated with?

I don't know what they treat seeds with.  I believe dave gets the seeds you'd just use for planting.  I got a little organic seed.  I like the sprouted seeds on my salads...both vegetable and fruit salads.

Lloyd Danforth

Won't the Wheat Berries you grind into WW flour sprout?

cathleeninnh

Learn something new all the time. I never knew that the wheat berries I cook and eat could be ground into flour, or sprouted.

For a while I made all of my bread and pancakes from flour ground from wheatberries.  I was a member of organic food buying club and we would put together an order and split stuff up.

I don't think his recipies care that much whether he is a pro government guy.

I just had a nice breakfast - about 1 cup of wheat sprouts, 1 banana with a little water and honey put through the blender and eaten raw.  It was really good!
