YOU SUCK!  ;D

Congratulations, and welcome home. I know it's a bummer, moving in the middle of such personal turmoil. But now you're free now. Or freenow. Or something.  ;D

Sorry I was out of this loop John . . . been busting-ass working crazy-long hours and haven't had time to keep up . . .

Things are slowly moving along here....got me an iron, lint brush, alarm clock and a job interview tomorrow....keeping my fingers crossed on that one, as it's exactly the type of position I'm looking for.  Just came from trying to pick up that washer, no dice.  Now onward to the caspian website to find the nearest card-free grocery stores.  Still typing from a library, but should have my computer problems solved by the end of the week.  Again, a huge thanks to all that have helped!

Hannaford's doesn't use cards.

Pat McCotter

Market Basket doesn't use cards and they are less expensive than Hannaford's.

John,

What donated items do you still need for your new home (if bedding/sheets- what size?). And are you still interested in doing some carpentry/painting/etc... for cash?  I live in the Manchester area, and I'd like to help out if I can.  And also hopefully get some work done by a Free Stater at a good price- cash. :)

Please PM me with a list of items you still need; also, I have several computers cluttering up my basement which I've not cannibalized yet... so you might want to take them/parts of them off my hands.  Possibly a color TV, as well, though I think you'd need cable service to actually get any reception here (I tried doing without, LOL).

As for grocery store cards, I had no problem registering a "saver" card in my cat's name- false address- with Shaws and Stop & Shop. And because I did not want to be "validated" with them in order to cash personal checks, they did not require my personal information or SSN or anything else.  Hannaford, as others have said, does not use cards (yet- but it's coming!)

Welcome to NH!

Ok, finally back online....again, a huge thanks to all those who have helped!

Does anyone have alternate contact info for LiveFreeOrDie?  They don't seem to have been on here since posting to this thread....

No ... you might just have to wait. Does anyone know them in the real world?
