Jeez, I did not mean to start a town fight.

'Sokay. I started a thread about Lynch fudging budget numbers, and it turned into 4 pages (so far) of debate about Christianity, Mormons, and the Easter Bunny.

I really love Lancaster and I hope to visit Kevin and Mary there when it is not snowing.  :)

That's when we'll need you to visit the most... to keep the heat going. We'll just move you into our basement, and bang on the floor when we need more steam.

;D

Nothing much out by the Taj Mahal.  It makes their coffee breaks that much longer to have to drive a few blocks.

The fed guys were complaining about budget cuts ..... "after 9/11 we could have anything" .... I wonder if it is cutting into the donut fund. They stopped at Romy's on the way back to the IRS building. I was walking so they beat me there. I complained that they got cold drinks and I had nothing and had to walk. :)

"after 9/11 we could have anything"

They may not be evil enough to blow things up and blame it on islamic terrorists, but they probably have the strongest motive to do so of any americans.   Only they benefit personlly when it happens; even crazies like mcveigh and nichols didn't benefit.

Feedback on the 6 big forums i've posted to is moderate in terms of volume, 90% against russell in terms of reaction, as of yesterday.  Three of those are NH forums.

the pattern I"ve notice traditionally with civil dis is that the initial response is usually the most negative; then the debate becomes more even.

post about legislative successes generate the most positive response, innocuous civil dis (like the manicure) generates even or positive response and controversial civil dis involving "going to their property" generates the most negative response.

This is not getting any mainstream media coverage yet but the digg thing sounds fairly important.

Negative towards what? Russell, or the police response?

I've read a lot of the comments on Digg and HoT and I think the people that are negative don't understand what Russell was actually doing and some people think that Russell will make the Libertarian party look bad (maybe if the party actually got something accomplished they wouldn't be angry). They could be the police but I don't think they move that quickly. The police responses will be on there next quarter they probably have to get a budget approved and then have some lawers look at the responses and go through 10 drafts, fill out forms and then they can post.
