So, although aggrandizing, "FREE RUSSEL KANNING" is a bit of a misnomer?  He is being held for stating he would not return to court voluntarily.

What to put on a sign/headline/<h1> font?

"RUSSEL IS NOT A FLIGHT RISK?"

How about "RUSSEL HURT(S) NO ONE" ?

"GUILTY OF QUESTIONS" or "GUILTY OF QUESTIONING" or "HELD FOR QUESTION[ING]"

Did they give him two different orders? Or because there were two security people there? Why two?

It seems like "disorderly conduct" and "failure to obey officers" is basically the same thing...

He tried on two separate times last thursday to go upstairs and hand out flyers.  The disorderly conduct was for being a nusaince and blocking the door (arrest #2), but it sounded to me like the officers were blocking the door, not Russell.  He just wanted to go in

The judge at his trial was James R. Muirhead, United States Magistrate Judge.  (I just got a letter.)

Sent an e-mail to Pastor Garrett Lear, Well of Living Water Christian Fellowship. He is known as the patriot pastor for his dressing in colonial garb.

Asking him our his church to inquire/visit the jail about Russell's condition.

Jailers have no need to open and "process" postcards.

Hello all.  Im a new guy here, obviously.  Does anyone know if Russell is allowed to have books, and if he is, does he already have any?  Does he have access to things like paper, envelopes, pens & stamps?  Are there any things he needs that we are allowed to send?  Toiletries, clothing, ???  I have never had any jail experiences and have no idea how this works.  I suppose I could call the jail, but I figured someone here would have some idea.  Is anyone organizing a "send things to Russell" campaign?  I fired off a letter yesterday wishing him well and offering my support, but would like to help him out as much as possible.  Jail must suck.

I was hoping there was already some infrastructure that you guys are already familiar with to work on a document together.  That way speakers can volunteer their identity to quotes, and also give permission for their quotes to be used, by centrally editing the document.

The idea being to use all the info for some myspace thing that I find myself *shudder* volunteering for.

Please someone stop me.

Russell already had his trial.  They're holding him until sentencing.

I guess they wanted to bounce him through quick as a bunny, or a kangaroo as the case may be, to prevent the ACLU from getting into it and giving them a big headache over defining how their order was "lawful."
