Holy Schmoly.... I just blogged this; I think you'll appreciate it. There is a lot of commonality going on with Mr. Kanning and me, even if we are not exactly politically aligned.

See, even though I used to work for the NAACP, I support EVERYONE'S right to petition the government for redress, and for EVERYONE to be free from unlawful government beat-downs in retaliation for their First Amendment Rights.... which include the Right to speak, right of privacy, rights of association and to petition the government for redress of grievances, as you can see in our new video at:

http://justiceforkids.net/video.html

Here's a thread I started on this board the other day about oppressed people from different political persuasions coming together:

Peace.

BTW when I went to the Clerk of Courts they let me take my iPod into the building. They guards thought it might be a cell phone, which is verboten. But they immediately allowed me to carry it in when I said it was a music player.
I bet they'd also have let me carry it in if it had this little dongle attached.

The sound would be crappy, but bettern' nothin!

Hey Denis that would I'm sure be against the law... you are working within the law ain't ya.  ;)

My mom secretly recorded her divorce proceedings to avoid the outrageous fees they charge.

As to the courts recording, maybe they really did have trouble with the recording. However didn't the judge (I think) promise that you could have the recording for your use? I think if you were to request, he might intervene to get access to the audio.

Russell asking if they are ready to quit yet, is worth alot...

The transcription is nothing compared to the audio recording.

Rosa saying "I ain't sittin' in the back of the bus no more."

Yeah, fed courts are whack. They don't want you taking ANYTHING up in there.  Obviously, we've been granted and denied in Stateside courts, but we even turned a denial into a decent short film "Day in Nashua" at http://kingcast.net.

Gotta' be smarter than the gub'ment.

Peace.

With all due respect, he has clearly asserted his liberty.

He has not petitioned anyone for anything. Indeed, such is the antithesis of true individual liberty.

Christopher King

At this juncture you have a right to tell the government that they owe him for their transgression, and you should have that right without fear of retribution.

Peace.

Caleb

It does seem that a person who doesn't legitimize their system has no hope for any justice.

Christopher King

And too often neither do those who do..... I suppose it's all a matter of doing what we must.

I know my book will find its niche (I have a nice Boston grassroots writer on the manuscript) so THAT is my angle on the Justice.

We can't take what they give us; we have to make our own it seems.

Peace.

Wow. I haven't been to a federal court as a spectator, but when I was a juror last year, we all had cell phones, and got a reminder to turn them off during court proceedings. Every time we got dismissed from the court (breaks, jury-free deliberations, etc.), we all turned them back on and checked in with family to let them know what we were doing.

Jurors and spectators and related parties all went through the same security checkpoint, but they did ask if you were a juror or not. I don't know if that affected what they checked for. I do know that after the first day, when we got our juror badges, they would just wave us on through if we beeped at the metal detector.

As a federal LEO, I could have checked my gun at the security checkpoint (they have lockboxes for LEOs). I decided that I wouldn't take advantage of a special privilege, so I secured my pistol in my car, parked on the street like everyone else.

You're a LEO?  I had no idea.  Not only is NHFree being observed by LEOs, but we've been out-and-out infiltrated -- one of the best guys on the boards is a LEO!   ;)

John

Kat, Something told me to check in . . . . I don't have time to read everything, but you all are in my thoughts and in my heart.
May "God's" Grace be with you.

We're never going to do something that needs to be hidden.

We are here. We are Free. And that's the way we intend to be!

The judge did say the audio could be purchased and used in whatever manner one wanted

With respect to effecting massive change for liberty, yes, I am -- because I feel strongly that is the most direct, fastest route to freedom.
That doesn't mean I never drive over the speed limit, though  :icon_pirat:

Come, come, now Caleb -- you do use the sidewalks and roads "they" used force to create, do yo not?!?

You buy into the system of violence, my friend.
