That's bullshit -- even if the tapes are illegal they may used for evidentiary purposes in a civil action against the police. I have provided the Gannons with the names of several possible attorneys to get on with it.

Furthermore, I don't give a shit if "other lawyers" have sided with Hefferan.... there's a Due Process issue going on here. He can't just say "Gannon's breaking the law," and that's it and that's that.
