I know Houlton fairly well (County boy).

I spent some time in Houlton and rather liked it. The downtown is charming.

Yes, I liked the Houlton area too, the downtown was charming altough when I was there it was mostly empty. ( about 4 years ago ) I was in shock to as you could by a house for 25 thousand dollars!

I went to a lake one day, off  US2 and felt strange after a while I knew why. There was no back round noise, my ears were wondering what was going on.
