Hey Ambassador Keyes! ;)  Never say just!  My thinking is that a welcoming hand, just may be the most important thing we do! :)

Truth is, we need the folks, and at least my thinking is:  It all starts with a welcoming hand.

Of course in my case that would be a welcoming hug! ;D

We also need a woman's touch with this whole welcome wagon thing....a single guy on the coast needs a little help ;)

OK, it's looking like beginning of May for me. A co-worker is coming over tomorrow to sign a purchase agreement on my house.

Jeremy Robert Furbish and family have kindly agreed to let me (and Otis >:D ) stay with them for a while.

We'll need to find some other place to meet'n'greet other than their place, most likely. I don't expect they'd appreciate a lot of drinking, being Mormons with young'ns.

Russell Kanning

There are no rules for meet and greets. We usually have them at someone elses house besides the new arrivals. Brad and Margot had theirs at Karl's place in Manchester and then they decided to hold one for the next batch of people. No pressure 8) The most important thing is to actually tell us when you are coming so we can plan move in help and the like. We keep getting people who sneak in and do all the work themselves.

BTW we also had a family friendly party at Varrin's place for when the Swearingens and I moved. Our boys can behave themselves for the kids if they need to. :)

So are you moving in May? ....that would be great. We can't wait to see who all is going to move during this summer. What part of the state are you moving to?

Well you won't have to worry about that from me  :D

Otis is part Husky and part Border Collie - a bundle of hyperactive energy. He was named after the drunk (now mayor) of Mayberry.

He doesn't know Shorty  :P

That's strange. I thought Shorty was on a first name basis with every dog in the universe.  ;) I know he dated quite a few dog's in his day.  ;D

1 hour north of Keene on Hwy 10, between Claremont and Concord.

He used to, but not much anymore - kinda like me. (although a bottle of Sam Adams Utopias is worth considering!)

He does like coffee (with cream)  :)
