The Twin Towers came down in nearly freefall speed.
No, they didn't.

From the way you've formatted your post, I'm not sure if you're quoting something.

As for the "nearly freefall speed", just look at the photos and videos: in every one, the dust and debris is arcing out and downward ahead of the collapse. The debris is in freefall; the building, coming down more slowly, obviously isn't.

You know. George Bush is a conspiracy theorist too. The whole concept of Al Chada, etc. Is comspiracy theory.

Yes, that definitely puts things into perspective. Thanks for the link.

I live to serve  :D  I kinda get my jollies in reading this "debunking" stuff.  I loved reading through the tomes of anti-Michael-Moore stuff after Bowling for Columbine and Farenheit 9/11.

this is true. i'm not going to get fully involved in this thread, but i will say that the south tower collapsed like this:

about 3/4 up, there was an obvious major fire that was taking out the middle of the infrastructure. you could see right thru the building, except, of course, for the fire. on the east side of the building, where the fire was, a few floors of steel girders (or things that looked very thin and long) started falling away. picture a model of the tower with a frame of toothpicks, and then slowly applying pressure to one part of the top of the model. the toothpicks at this weak point (where the fire was) sort of fell out and away from the building (only slightly away, and one at a time, not as if from some internal explosion). after a few seconds of just a few of these "toothpicks" falling, a bunch of them came out, and then the top of the tower leaned east and fell.

i honestly cant remember if the dust cloud blew out prior to the tower leaning, simultaneously, or just after. but it did happen very quickly. i'm sure that seeing a video can explain that part better than i can. i just wanted to add the bit about what happened just prior to it falling; not sure if thats shown on video or not.
