Seems like they should. The first officer I spoke with was very pro-demonstration. However, we have decline to tell them what we are demonstrating, mearly where.

tyler sorry for the slow response and thanks again for the help.

my two sign ideas are:

dear feds:
plz dont hurt
ed brown
nhfree.com

and

Taxes support
Torture
I support
Ed Brown
NHfree.com

rigid posterboard  2' x 3' signs seem best.   they can be a little bigger

lettering should be around 5'' high, tho the URL can be smaller.
black lettering.  white background..  nothing fancy, no pictures.  designed to be seen by passing cars

you can apply this model to any message and it works well.

TylerM, welcome to the world of Russell's subtle sarcasm.  ;)

yea buuuudddddy

In the "City of Keene" there is no such thing as a permit or whatever for demonstrations. The cops just watch us as we burn tax forms and such. :)

Once you start asking for permission, they might start getting ideas in their little bureaucrat heads.

I've learned this is true.  We need to practice Non-cooperation more.

Sounds like speculation on very thin evidence.  Is there any data to support the theory that bureau-rats have brains in their heads?  And without brains...ideas would seem to be "facts not in evidence."   :icon_pirat:

No way I'm going along with that.   >:D

LOL...can't wait for you guys to move.  :D

Russell Kanning

time for some tilting at windmills ... we will start out a little slower this year

I really like the idea of ostracising those who practice coercion.

Keene is, what, all of 23,000?  It should not be hard to establish the names of some of the agents of tyranny who live in town.

Encourage shop owners to deny them service.

Tell the neighborhood kids who they are.  Children can be very creative about letting people know they aren't liked.

Whoever is head of the IRS office might deserve some picketing in his or her neighborhood.

Tilting at windmills is its own reward, as Don Quixote learnt.  Maybe it is time for something more?
