How about a provacative one:  Stop the financial Rape.
Or, STR's bumper sticker message-Other people are not your property, so stop acting like it.

Kat Kanning

Hey Julia, if you go to this, you may be the only one there.  :-\

Sam Adams

Hey Kat,

Are you sure you didn't break a law by burning papers on the sidewalk?

New Hampshire law follows:

TITLE XIX-A
FORESTRY

CHAPTER 227-L
WOODLAND FIRE CONTROL

Permits, Prohibitions, and Penalties

Section 227-L:17
    227-L:17 Permits; Damages; Penalties. ?
    I. It shall be unlawful for any person to kindle or cause to be kindled a fire upon the land of another without first obtaining permission from the landowner or the landowner's agent, or upon public land without the written permission from the official caretaker, excepting that upon a public recreational area where fireplaces and a supervisor are provided, presence of an official supervisor or caretaker upon such land shall constitute permission.

Kat Kanning

Yeah, I'm sure I did.  The police came once and told me not to do it...yawn.

Since I need lots of practice:o  I went to the Fed Building in Keene and played guitar & sang songs today, from about 12:25 - 1:35 p.m.

Then, I went to Winchester 'till early evening . . . then called FTL when I got home . . . (Dada called on unrelated matters shortly afterwards.)

A little drive, a little fun, a little work . . . pretty darn good way to spend my day off.  Only one problem today: I had to leave.
On the other hand I am still happy to have spent time with my good friends!

Sam, you'll find that there is some people here who don't care if they break stupid laws. You could say I'm one of them.

Today we got warning stickers attached to our car windows for parking in the government lot. They are hard to get off. They are badges of honor I guess from the IRS. :)

Dave Ridley

Was the lot relatively full?  were your cars in anyone's way?

Russell Kanning

of course not. It is never full.
