If anyone cares to support this victim of police/government abuse, you will find the store only about one/or two blocks south of the state house on the main street (on the east side.)
I have not been there yet, but thought I kind of liked the place - just based on the name - from the first time I spotted it.

Haha, yeah, I noticed it when Kat and Kira drove me to the courthouse from the bus station.  The Federales had a problem with Lauren's pitchfork -- er, dungfork -- so close to the federal building; I wonder what their thoughts are on the Pitchfork Records store being so close to the building   ::)

If there is a God, He surely Blesses you all.
If there is no God, you all are surely still blessed by the fact that you are great folks.

You're a good guy too, John  ;)  The blessing of having new liberty-loving friends is a pretty significant one; it makes the "nod of approval" from God seem like the cherry on top.  We're great folks with great friends.

who charged him?

Called the store and left a message for Michael to see what if anything he wants folks to do to help him.

Apparently none of the CDs the guy had were determined to be illegally produced, yet after the court date the cops won't return them and the Judge agrees they can keep them because a crime "might" have occurred.   If they can confiscate on their whim without any just cause, tyranny is already here.

<sarcasm> Quit blaming the police, they're just doing their jobs! Besides, this guy should have known better than to try to start a business in this country! Love it or leave it! </sarcasm>
???

Back in reality... these actions are similar to recent Russian economic pressure tactics whereby the Russian government intercedes to damage or destroy non-Russian businesses in order to boost domestic business:
-Refusing to import millions of dollars in Motorola phones, then destroying a large portion of the shipment for "health" reasons and sending them back to Motorola.  :o
-Destroying or threatening to destroy businesses (i.e. gas refineries, oil companies, and others in the energy industry) inside and outside of Russia to the benefit of Russian businesses that Putin approves of.  :o

It sounds like a genuine government-industry partnership for a fascist dictatorship shaping up there. And they might actually have some economic wealth backing them when the time comes as the US economy dies and their country continues to grow into an economic powerhouse.

The least New Hampshire could do is avoid fascist tendencies. I wonder which competitor (if any) put the government up to attempting to annihilate this man's business.

We need to get a state rep, to file legislation to put this to end - fast.

And we would all be right in calling it a Police State.

The big question is what to do about it.  And so, We fight this battle on several fronts.
I stand FIRMLY with you - as you know.  I must (as long as it makes any sence) also stand with our friends who are working to change the laws.

Things will change.  Things are already changing.  We are on our way back to Freedom.

This is so 'in your face' that it is incredibly depressing.  (just like New London, and briefly Norwood)
My natural optimism has me to believe that most people will find this to be horrible, but my developed sence of futilism tells me that most are too busy with thier own lives (understandingly) and that after a while it will be forgotton.   :'(
