Hey Kat...didn't read what I agreed too....just going to have to trust you didn't put anything down
I can't live with. ::)

Anyway thinking we need to start getting more involved in local politics, and learning more about
what is going on locally.

I signed on with the "Dover Citizens for a Sound Government" a couple weeks ago.  Our goal is to
get our people, those who believe that the government needs to be accountable to the people when
they start spending our money, elected to the upcoming election (January 18th) to rewrite the city
charter.

It's crazy here, the city manager pretty much does and spends whatever he wants, with no checks or
balances.  Anyway it's all local people, and me.  There are groups like this all over the state, and do believe
it servers freedom well if we get involved.  At least my thought, we can do so much locally if we start getting
involved.  Perhaps little glory, but the quiet satisfaction knowing we have helped get it done.

Can't help but believe if we pitch in and help with their efforts it will serve us well as we begin to promote
many of our issues that do not currently hold wide spread support.  As we gain credibility as individuals, our
more contraversial issues will gain a more wide spread acceptance.

Hey...just my 2 cents

Dave
