There is an informative website located at www.hiscovenantministries.org.  Please click on the link "Man's Law" and click on SSN.  Yes, you all did burn your SSN cards.  However, did that action remove these Numbers from the SSA and IRS records they may still have on you all?

Burning the card was a symbolic act. The SSA sends out new ones anytime you ask, at either no or minimal cost. You can always get a replacement card, and having a card is really not necessary to use the number.

Nobody said that burning them removed the record.. just that it showed you don't... you know, care for the ssa as a whole.

I was assured that the proper way to get my name off of the government records was to burn the card over a small fire with a hot dog skewer while my friends laughed along with me.

I am not a student of man's laws, so I might be missing the proper procedures.
