Report from my "raids" on Epping PD, UNH PD

Another thing one of the epping officers said that I forgot to mention was this:

After they had observed that I was over 21 and not female, they said hey that's right...Gatchell discriminated!   They said "He charged more for men than women.   I wonder what the Constitutionalists think about that?"

Now THAT's a line that spoke volumes to me... where is privately based gender discrimination referenced in the Constitution?   And....why would he refer to *me* as a Constitutionalist?  Aren't they supposed to be Constitutionalists also?

If any of us join Dada in a future raid, I suggest we just follow his lead, and silently hold a sign that says "Now".

Then as the panicy office staff surveys the invasion of silent people they will ask in terror,
"What do they want?"

Dave will look at his sign.

If they then ask, "When do they want it?"

The second person will look at his sign.
:D

heh heh!

Lauren BTW you are the one who inspired these raids more than anyone else, with your silent civil dis at new london CT.  So you are the test pilot not me!

Hopefully someone will take this type of raid and add improvements to it.  And DO it!

BTW what other ideas if any do you guys have for improving on this?

Another thought I had is when cops come to nhfree.com that will imprint into their minds the *size* of this movement and the high level of its activity.  If they come back six months later they will probaby note that it has grown quite a bit since their last visit.   That's a good thing for them to be thinking about as they plot their future activities.   "Hmm do we want to go after a burglar and be heros...or go after a party and be villians?"

Russell Kanning

Should we make a sandwich board arrangment out of 1 or 2 of these whiteboards to allow your hands to be free?

Russell Kanning

Have you liked the total silence approach best? Does nodding/shaking add or subtract? Smile or serious?

More karma to Dada.  I don't think I'd enjoy this type of action, but I enjoy it vicariously through you, Dada.   ;D

Once I figure out my schedule and stuff at school I would be happy to join in a similar silent protest.

The people have a right, in an orderly and peaceable manner, to assemble and consult upon the common good, give instructions to their representatives, and to request of the l egislative body, by way of petition or remonstrance, redress of the wrongs done them, and of the grievances they suffer.

Free speech and liberty of the press are essential to the security of freedom in a state: They ought, therefore, to be inviolably preserved.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
