unread messages change

Is it just me or has the "Show unread posts since last visit." page not working like it used to? It seems like the list is being cleared every few hours. For example, I will look at the list once, then refresh an hour or so later and it's much shorter but I hadn't read all of the threads.

I think that's the way it's always worked. When you refresh, it will only show unread messages since the last time you viewed unread messages.
