Sad to say, it looks like she got a lot of hate mail for having canceled the MVP meeting for September. She sent out a message about it on the MVP e-mail list earlier today.

I am sending her a message to encourage her not to listen to the whiners. I highly encourage other to do the same too. I would like to thank CNHT and Seth Cohn for already doing that! She really needs our support right now!

That said... having been playing around on this webnet thingy for a dozen years or so now (which makes me about middle aged in Human Years), this much I have learned: lurkers don't count. Ignore anyone who will send you nasty email privately, but won't speak up in public.

That also said... those of us here in this forum, who don't read the other venues where this cancellation may have been discussed, shouldn't judge the level of crap that Friday caught, because we weren't on the receiving end of it.

Friday does an amazing amount of work for NHfree and the FSP. I would really hate to see her driven off by some nattering nabobs. I hope she'll take a breath and reconsider.

I've seen plenty of people on this forum publicly post things that are flat-out unequivocally abusive to people who are in fact working like hell on our cause. Sometimes people don't like other people on a purely personal level, and cannot get past that, so as to be able to work with them on values that are shared.

I'm not saying you're wrong. If it were, say, Seth Cohn that were getting hate mail, I'd believe it could come from here.  But Sandy?  Everyone here that I know of likes Sandy.  Why would they attack her?

But the problem is that Sandy doesn't realize it. Somehow, in the fray, NHFree got a black eye it didn't deserve.
