Got a fiddle over there?

No, but we do have an AK-47 and some pistols. We have a sort of range set up behind the house. The other day we found out that the spinners (targets that spin when hit) weren't meant to be used with large rounds  >:D

I'll probably be making :pizza: from scratch. If you want dead animal parts on it, you need to bring your own - the earlier the better.

John

Slightly different effect than a fiddle, but an AK-47 and some pistols sure sound good.

Kat Kanning

Do An AK-47 and Some Pistols sound anything like Sex Pistols?

Sadly, no fiddles here--Nik Ludwig has yet to make the move to NH. He is still exiled in MN :/ When he does make the move, we will have fiddles, AK's, pistols, sex pistols, and the whole smorgasbord  :D

Until then, we will have to content ourselves with guitars, Otis, guns, tents and booze  :-\

Rochelle

Hey, I'm leaving Monday for NH and will arrive there on Wednesday. I'd love to go to the meet n' greet, but I'm not entirely sure I'll know how to get there. Any chance anyone could give me a lift? I'm going to live in Manchester...

BTW Rochelle,  Are you visiting this week - or are you comming HOME to stay?
Either way, I can help with travel to this party.
It's not too far from Manchester and I can easily come down to get you if no one is passing through.  It's not a problem.  The more the merrier!

I sent her an e-mail offerring a ride, but didn't hear back. If she got it, she has our contact info.

It looks like she's moving here, according to her blog!  :D She will be on the road until Wednesday.

Car-pool as much as possible, but we will have a lot of parking available. Folks may have to stagger and move their cars, depending on how many show up, but being in the country all cars will be safe.

I should point out, too that Dave Mincin's party is the night before at the Keye's place. http://forum.soulawakenings.com/index.php?topic=5184.0
They live about 7 miles from here, so folks who want to go to both are also welcome to camp out on our land for one or both nights. Mini-PorcFest!

Dave Ridley

arright i am going to the keyes' party probably but am trying to decide whether it is worth coming over and camping as insurgent suggests.....I will have to leave D-field at 1:30 pm saturday.

Is it it worth staying over if I have to leave so early the next day, 3 hours before the party even starts?  Or is there something I can do to help you guys get ready?

Dave Ridley

rochelle gimme a ring if you like at 721 1490 tomorrow, it's possible i could be in a good spot to give you a ride in or out but it depends where you are and when.

Worth?

That's up to you, I suppose. We're offering  up our place for people to crash on one or both nights since there are two events within a few miles of each other. We're planning to go to Dave's event also, so the party might sort of migrate at some point back to here. It could be like a mini PorcFest!

We'll have some finishing touches going on Saturday afternoon, yes. Folks are welcome to show up most any time, too; we don't have a real agenda aside from some great fellowship and comraderie!

I should also mention that we have gone somewhat overboard on buying refreshments. It was announced as being a BYOB event, but we plan to have a bar, tended by yours truly, with a variety of cocktails and soft drinks as well as an assortment of cheap domestic beer. If your tastes range into the more expensive beers, wines or elsewhere please bring something for yourself and/or to pass. We're also providing some basic foods, but we'd welcome some additions from those who have a speciality or favorite dish to pass.

Should be good times!

PS--we'll hopefully have some signs up to direct people to our place, but if you get lost call my mobile  at eight two eight eight three zero six and we'll get you squared away

Pat K

Wish I could attend, hope you all have a great time.

Dave Ridley

also which is the spot we are aiming for?  the one with the R?
