If anyone's interested I'm tentatively planning to do a couple more silent demonstrations Friday Sept 22, probably in the Mancester/Concord area, probably starting around 10:30 a.m.   The date will change if I get called into work or something.   The IRS and Nashua PD are encouraged to remain calm; I'm not headed either place this time.  Gimme a shout if you want to link up somewhere along the way and join me.  You don't need to bring anything except maybe a camera; I just thought it would be cool to have a person or two tag along and observe.

If you're out looking for me on Friday just ring me up on my cell at 721-1490 and I'll probably give you a rally point where we can meet.  Or maybe I can pick you up.  Also I'm planning on going to Mincin's fundraiser in Epsom at 6 p.m.  Again, these plans may change, so you'll need the cell phone number.

I don't have a camera or a cell phone, but I'll come anyway.

Kat wants to join you. So where and when should we do this thing. How about Manchester for Cathleen?

We could take pictures or add sign holders inside/outside both silent/talking. :)

Initial rally point will be Bickford's on 1000 s. willow street in manchester.  10 a.m. friday the 22nd.

More rally points may be set later.  Again, there is probably a one in six chance I will change the date on this  at the last minute so call me friday morning to make sure it's all on track.

One item that might be helpful to bring is a gadsden flag on a pole if you have one, or any other generic pro liberty, or NHfree.com type stuff.

Dada may not be online for awhile, so here is my report.

It being his show, I went as an observer. First we went to the airport. Dave stood on the curved stairway situated between the security checkpoints. His sign was about water restictions. I stood below near one side and heard a TSA officer phone for security. It took about 4 minutes for an officer to confront Dave and ask him to leave. Dave inched back and the officer backed him down the stairs and out the front door, nose to nose the whole way. Midway, his sign was taken from him. Outside on the sidewalk, the officer broke the tension himself with a tease about something being behind Dave in his path. They both chuckled, shook hands and we left.

Then we went to Concord to the offices of Bass and Gregg. They did not ask him to leave but ignored him. He stood for 15 minutes each and then left.

Then we headed to the big complex of Department and Bureau Division Offices place.

First the DOT then the DOS and the DMV.

The DOT was interesting in that his sign was regarding Al Baldesaro. No one understood it or confronted Dave but there was much peeking and tittering behind windows. I am convinced that every department in the building sent someone to walk through the lobby to check out the sign holder. A lot of pretended ignoring going on.

The DOS was very different. Visitors were hard hat worker types and some were curious enough to ask or comment. Dave's sign here was the Real ID one that he used at Bass and Gregg's offices. Comments that I heard were, soon we will all be chipped and if it stops terrorists, it's ok. Dave was eventually told to sign hold outside or go over to the DMV. He backed out slowly.

We then went over to the DMV and entered the building. I stood to the side and immediately heard a soft conversation that they were aware of him and it was going to be taken care of and to just ignore him. After a bit he was confronted and quickly escorted out the door where we stood for awhile longer.

Outside, we got quite a bit of inquiries from the traffic going in and out of the office. Dave was willing to talk to them, but when another uniform approached he clammed up. The officer said it's ok to hold a sign but you have to go across the drive to the opposite curb. At that point a man confronted the officer and said on whose order? He called his bluff and identified himself as Rep Danforth and defended Daves right to stand by the door. The uniform backed down and walked away.

After that we had a nice with the rep (who btw has had contact with Kentucky and their Real--ID implementation problems).
didn't stay too much longer but several people said they were interested in the issue and said they might come by NHFree.com

That's about it. Dave's report to follow.
