Any word on her level of cooperation this time out?

Kat Kanning

He didn't say, other than he thinks she'll be in jail all weekend.

I talked to Jim just now.  Lauren got arrested because she was sitting outside her old place in New London and refused to leave when they were boarding the place up.  Jim doesn't think she's going to cooperate and get out right away.  He asked people to call City Council there and complain.

I didn't

I don't see any email bounces today. Are you sure you subscribed to the list?

Apparently she didn't get an arraignment today because she refused to do the fingerprints.

This is horrible. If only I could help get her out of there.

I was not aware that Jim and Lauren no longer lived in their New London eminent-domained apartment building. When did they move? Did the land owner sell out? I know Kelo sold out.  :P

All of them sold out.

What is this country coming to? Are our allies nothing but unprincipled opportunists? :'(

I don't know what I'd do in that situation, so I guess I shouldn't say anything about it, but I am quite disappointed.   :(

I don't necessarily consider it shameful to 'sell out' if its done under coersion in order to minimize loss of property.  I don't know enough of the situation to make a judgment in this case.  Jim called in to FTL tonight, which I heard from the Gimme Liberty Bar.
