Hello i we are having a discustion about gun control on my forum and one of the members posted this

Your correspondent, if he really doesn't like the fact that anyone could be walking around with them, should either get one of his own, or leave the country, for this is the wrong place for him. He would be happier someplace like China, where he can have his whole life regimented and controlled, as he seems to desire.

For it is true that when you take away one person's right, even in a limited circumstance, you open yourself up to have your own right stripped from you in another circumstance. Thus is the house of despotism built, brick by brick.

I've had my say. Gun control advocates want people to suffer and die at the hands of criminals. There's no way around it.
