We're thinking about holding a big Meet and Greet party for Killington, VT residents in Lebanon.  We'd likely do it sometime near the begining of April. Ideas on where to have it?  Is Lebanon the best place?  Is April good?

Kat Kanning

Killington would be bringing their tourism with them :)  They've voted to seceed to NH.

Russell Kanning

Yea they are migrating to NH in a most unique way. 8)

Shorty used to like to go to Killington.

Kat Kanning

OK Alan.  When are we going to see you next?  Saturday?  I need to schedule you for a thorough beating.

OK Alan.? When are we going to see you next?? Saturday?? I need to schedule you for a thorough beating.

Anything but that!!!! I prefer less than thorough beatings.

Kat Kanning

Well, OK...we  can schedule a half-assed beating :)

AlanM

THEY say, if you remember the 60's you weren't there. I remember them (especially my disagreements with my Drat Board), so I guess I wasn't there. But if I wasn't there, then how do I remember them. Strange paradox.

So a freedom contingency plan needs to be developed.? Towns between the NH border and Killington should also agree to sucession.? ?Gov. Lynch would need to mobolize NH National Guard to protect newly acquired territory from Vermont torries.? ?Sounds like the Gov will have his hands full and need some help from......whom........ a newly formed citizen militia, hmmmmmm

Lynch would probably call up the Boston Local Iron Workers Union.  ;)

The U.S. Constitution Rangers have a nice office in Lebanon; I wonder if they would enjoy hosting the meet and greet.   It would be a good recruiting oppty for them and a chance for us to get to know some of the Rangers.  I enjoyed their meeting yesterday.

Scott Roth

That sounds like something right up their alley, Dada.

We were thinking big restaurant because then the food is already taken care of...but if they have a big place, that would work :)

I am still torn between the idea of sending "ambassadors" to Killington or having them "experience" NH with a party here.
What do all of you think?

What about bringing NH to their own town, which is what they voted for anyway. We could throw a carnival/party there when the weather turns nice with plenty of NH hospitality, fun.
