privilege is the opposite of equal access opportunitity rights because it gives exclusive rights to some to exclude others.

justice can only be served by balancing these exclusive rights granted by privilege otherwise you destroy natural property rights of which the basis is human labor.

Balancing privileges creates unjust situations.

Some people are born into rich families, some are not... it's not the job of the government to balance those two children.  Life isn't always fair, the sooner the kid from the poor family learns that the better he or she will be in the long run.  Besides, that kid from the rich Hollywood family will most likely turn to drugs and die by 25 anyway so money isn't buying them anything  ;)

the obvious question is how did those "rich" families get initially "rich"?

if you go back in history I guarantee you will find government granted privilege at the end of the rainbow.

As you say, the only 'fair' thing is to have people pay for what they want -- themselves.

I'm sure you would in many cases.  Often times you find that government solutions usually create new problems the government seeks to fix.

Microsoft is a perfect example... government laws created their monopoly.  We allow companies to use the government to protect their investors and those running the companies and to protect the products they create.  But then we have antitrust laws for when those same companies over step their bounds and use their government created monopolies to styfle competition.

We can't do anything about the past so unless you want to continue the endless cycle of government solutions to problems originally created by prior government solutions you have to draw a line somewhere.

This story didn't make the digg front page; someone buried it. :(

all I am saying is end the privilege which creates the injustice that then liberals want to use the state to regukate the behavior.

Michael Fisher

Unless you truly believe that "anarcho-mutualism" would somehow spontaneously exist in the complete absence of government:
-NO monopolies of force over a specific geographic area;
-100% free markets on all products, services, and intellectual property; and
-A 100% FREE, UNREGULATED MARKET IN THE PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES.

Unless you believe ALL of those things, then "anarcho-" has no part of the phrase "anarcho-mutualist."

So you want even MORE government interference to fix it. The logic of a socialist.

Your premise isn't even neccessarily true.

not more government interference just end the privilege extended to landowners, bankers and capitalists/corporatists and uphold the absolute right of self-ownership.

yes, "work" means labor whereas privilege means stealing the labor of others.

Show me where I earned my riches by stealing?!?!?!?!?!?!? That's the last straw....dang, the old class warfare chestnut -- some of you people were thoroughly brainwashed in our public schools and have no qualms about using political correctness have you?!

I believe that the whole myth is fueled by libs who are simply more focused on social than economic issues.

where are your interests involved in privilege?
