I'm sorry I kind of jumped all over your post.[/quote]

No problem sister! I forgave that in VERY short order. I ALWAYS TRY to forgive things even-as-they-happen: sometimes it takes a bit longer. Bla, bla.
I hope all is well!  +1 to you.

I failed to include the link to the video I referred to above.

I've worked with a guy from "down under" for many years.  I'm very SAD to report/say that this video may actually be more interesting than some/most of his endless rambles about ALL of yesterdays sporting events - not to mention inquiring/knowing what the state "lottery numbers" were from EVERY state in New England - - -AND EVEN beyond.  :dontknow:

In all fearness, the "Australian" dude intends no specific harm to others.
He just follows the U>S> socialist/communist/fascist heard. You know.

Addiction is a matter of perspective. My rotund friend on Long Island can understand.

I almost forgot what this thread was about in the first place, quitting smoking.  :)

I know I've tried to quit smoking several times  ::) but I know I've done it now.  I was really sick since last Wednesday and Sunday I ended up in the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack.  It was very scary to say the least they kept me there overnight too because of a cardiac blood test that came out abnormal and burning in my arm.  They're still not sure if I suffered some type of heart damage but anyways I haven't smoked since. :)

Thanks Pat!  ;D

I still have to go for some more heart tests but I think it will be fine, that stress test is a killer  ::) :P.    The great thing also is that I've been losing weight too; so I'm totally siked.  :)     In the past anytime I've quit smoking I lost weight, isn't that weird?   I thought people were supposed to gain weight when they quit. :dontknow:

John

I had been doing it for about 32 years.
I think it was maybe in September that I last did it.
I didn't do it today.  ;D

Dan

It's getting about that time for me.  I'm also letting go of my five year Atkin's streak.

Pairing back on income will do that.  :)  I'm still smiling.
