Quote from: Defender of Liberty on October 13, 2006, 08:40 AM NHFTI've been flying one on my house since I got back from the Porcfest.  I live in a border city, but if I had a traditional gadsen or union jack, I would fly that instead.

Someone asked me about the FSP flag that was flying over there.  I bet it was yours.

Mine also was off the house temporarily, when it was hung up on the porch of my trailer at Porc Fest. Keith saw it as did Pat K, and many others.

I love the porcupine symbol.  But I would not fly it if it had the fsp info on it.  Why?  I fully support the mission of the fsp, but as kbcraig said, I do not want to be viewed as an "invader" intent on taking over.
I might fly it if it has the nhfree info on it because the nhfree is more than freestaters.

I'm making a wall hanging of this porcupine, just reversing the colors.  Gold porc but I've run out of gold colored rings... :( :( :(
If I can get some other color in I would also add the words below...

not trying to change the subject completly, but what it insted of a porcupine we used a fisher cat, and the slogan could be "goddamn fishercats"

Fishers are solitary hunters, feeding mainly on small herbivores and omnivores such as mice, porcupines (they are the only predator to consistently hunt this quilled animal), squirrels, shrews and possibly deer.

I am not sure about the fishercat.  One of the cool things about the porcupine is that is helps us instantly conect with certain groups.  Vegies like it because it mostly eats trees and punks like it because on our flag it looks like the porcupine has a mohawk.  At one of the Warped Tour shows, this girl wanted to change into the FSP flag and wear it as a cape.  I decided against that one :)

I know you haven't been here long, but our antagonist-of-many-names (most recently "Money Dollars") went by "Fisher" on the FSP forums, specifically because the fisher is the only successful predator of the porcupine.

He'll show back up here eventually. He's a passionate guy who gets really PO'd because he can't help but like us, despite his determination to hate us. I can't wait until he shows up again, because he's a passionate advocate of freedom who is really on our side I really hate that guy.

I just added 3 pix of the FSP Don't Tread On Me flag to the FSP myspace.

In addition to the reasons given by others, the porcupine is also important because, while it is aptly-equipped to defend itself, it is not aggressive.  Porcupines don't go around attacking other animals, but will do a lot of damage to you, if you attack them.  Sort of the animal kingdom's natural spokesman for the zero-aggression principle.

I made a patch with the Gadsden Porc flag design, which doesn't have the FSP URL on it.
What do you think? Do you think they would sell?

Just the flag and that was all?
Should have said yes and got the picture/video...hmm doesn't that fit in with you Youtube viral plans?

No.  I don't want to make pornos with underage girls.  More importantly, it seemed like it would be disrespectful to the flag and disrespecting the flag is for commies!

When you become a "porcupine" you will understand . . .

At the right price, I'm buying - several!
