Fasting for Lauren's release

I've decided to start a fast for Lauren's release.  I'll try and fast until her next court date, the 23rd.  If they keep her beyond that date, I'll have to decide then whether I'll continue or not.

awesome kat... this gives me something to go to the judge's office with....i couldnt find his office when I went to demonstrate at the court....havent been doing much to contact the judge,  hardly any of us have...but he is the prime perp

if you did it in front of judge mcmahon's house, like the Gandhi guy in that Voluntaryist article, that should do the trick.

Sorry, a bit mean to talk about food during a fast. Kat's tough enough to take it though, she cooked the workcrews lunch today while fasting.

Thanks for doing this, Kat. You're a great ally to have.
The Christians on here may want to fast and pray for Lauren as well, but Biblically, we're not supposed to allow anyone to know if we're fasting.

I'm very sad that Lauren is still in jail. 
Has she written to anyone recently?

She's not written any letters, as far as I know.  I'm guessing she'd have to ask for writing materials, and she's not talking.

Thanks for letting us know how you are doing. I guess you just have to slow down to not over tax yourself. (Not knowing anything about fasting)

As for Lauren's treatment... I think Judges and Prosecutors should have to eat one meal a week with the prison population. Just to give them the full -5 star treatment they could also sleep one night a week on the thin pad they call a mattress.
