A little rat poison probably won't kill you.
Millions of people depend on daily doses of rat poison to stay alive.  ;)
So eat some circa 2006 rat poison and let me know how it works for ya.

The recommended daily intake of trans-fats is 0.
Recommended by whom?  The Fed?
People who understand what trans-fats do to you.
EVERYTHING in moderation.
A little transfat is probably not going to kill anyone.
A little rat poison probably won't kill you.  Do you want to have that in your food without knowing?  You can eat all you want, I want to know where it is so I can avoid it.
So lets make sure that Big Brother Fed can take care of us?

You can only eat trans fats if your in the Inner Party, maybe even some outer party members.

How many times did I say government is the wrong answer to this problem?

Food is eaten by consumers, companies that make food are quite keen on keeping their customers happy.  When they think the customers want low prices and long shelf life, they respond to that by stuffing their product with hydrogenated oils, which are cheap and prolong shelf life.  When customers say "this stuff is killing us, take it out!" they will take it out.  They've already started.

They did in the past.
In 1990 I know they were illegal.  I came to NH to get a tattoo.

I think Oklahoma was the last state to ban tattoo parlors, and they just legalized them.

I like these Consumer Freedom guys. They are probably our greatest allies in this area.
