Little boxes made of ticky-tacky and they all look just the same.

No thanks. This is why I don't want to live anywhere near Boston.

Right now I'm strongly leaning toward Keene.

Keene sounds really nice, but would be a loooooong commute for me!  ;D ;D ;D

It is possible to be near Boston and be nowhere near a cookie cutter development.

There are some boring houses and neighborhoods in NH, but they are easily avoided.

What you find here is older homes and manufactured homes, unless you have LOTS of money. There are exceptions, of course. I prefer the older homes. There are so many absolutely gorgeous houses in every town. As a renter with precious funds, I am unclear how to get comfortable with paying $300,000 for a house that has been patched for more than 85 years.

We need porcupines in *every* district, so when there is some issue, we can have pro-Freedom constituents contacting *every* member of the legislature.

It's good that many Porcs are in Keene, because many of the worst, most Statist politicians are there. The Keene people will hopefully decrease that influence. But it's not the only battleground in the state.

My commute is from the bed to the shower to the desk. It doesn't matter much where I am, as long as the bed, the shower and the desk are all in close proximity. ;D

My opinion is that Derry is OK but Salem is MA-lite. Actually, Salem is probably the worst place in NH. We could give Salem to MA in exchange for no more Massholes moving to Manchester and I'd be OK with it.

Look at towns like Auburn, Raymond, Exeter to the east, and Milford, Amherst, Bedford to the west.

Thanks Andy.

Will I be considered a Masshole since I'll be working in Mass? I've gotten pretty used to being called an asshole during my 32 years of life...I don't know if I can change now? ;D;D;D

How about one that is 140 years? ;)

Sounds like we need to get some PORCs to move to Salem, then...
