Remember remember the fifth of November the gunpowder treason and plot.

I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

;D

aries

I know of no reason why the holocaust should ever be forgot.

I think the Fourth of July holds more significance to freedom in the US than a British bomb plot.

I mourn on the Fourth of July.

Then I get back to work.

Why can't ya just celebrate them both?  They are both important dates in the history of freedom and opportunities to get together, burn and blow stuf up!

Atlas

I remember the UN flag burning day only.

We lamented that we wished we'd had a UN Flag to burn over the bonfire. But, that will be soon enough. :icon_pirat:

That should be a global holiday.

Mandatorily enforced! ;)

Question -  Is it morally wrong to pay for a UN flag that you're going to burn?  Shouldn't we be stealing them instead?

If you wanted to go to New York and play capture the flag... now that would be something. ;D 8)

I have the stencils I used to make the flags I brought to un flag burn II.  I should sell them in sets along with cloth, paint and FSP matchbooks.  People could keep them in their cars in case of emergency.

Scene:

Porc Manor  (sometime in the future)

Russell (feeding a stick into the fire):   "I've got to burn something.........anyone got any un flags?....I burnt all mine the day I got them"

Roger:  "I don't know if my kit is in this vehicle or the other one"

Lauren: "We've got some somewhere.....but, I can't find anything in that giant house!"

Dave:  "There's a 60% chance I have some in my car"

I'm partial to fireworks myself and I still have pride in the America that was then and could be again.  My Patriotism is based on the idea of America, so I will always Celebrate July 4th.  Even if NH has it's own Fourth of July someday.  ^_-

Lloyd should be a playwrite :)
