There is no Constitutional right to privacy.  There should be, but there isn't.  Congress should not pass laws violating privacy, but it would be within the Constitutional restraints to do so.

No, it wouldn't. By the Constitution, Congress is constrained to do only those things specifically allowed by the Constitution.

The Constitution did not create any rights -- as Kevin said, it created a government of LIMITED, ENUMERATED powers.

According to the supreme court, it's such an obvious, natural right that it's constitutional whether it's written or not.

Interesting way of ruling the case, I think they put it under the first amendment

The Supreme Court has decided repeatedly that they'll construe it however the hell they want, Ninth Amendment or no Ninth Amendment.

They've made a mockery of the rights our forefathers fought and died for.
