My computer is down

Thanks.  I'm back.

Don't know why, but this thing went flat dead . . . light on keyboard would blink once each time I tried to power up, then nothing - no fan runing in computer - nothing . . . no signal to monitor . . . I checked all conections time and again . . . tried several more times over the next days - then weeks . . . nothing.  (So fine, I'll have to take a little break for a while . . .)

Today (just for the fun of it) I tried again and it starts acting like normal?
Things that make me go HMMM?

Sounds like a power supply problem. A new one could run you $50 to $100, depending on quality. They tend to die if you do not clean the dust out of them a few times per year.
