I think it is where the Feds are going to hold all the FSP members after they roll in the tanks and totally wipe Keene off the map. >:D

No, they've got internment camps that are being protected as historical sites in Wyoming for that.

Is that the opening to the TRUE underground?  The word is that Russell has been working in his spare time to create an exact replica of America beneath the crust.
We are not replicating America down there. That is all I can divulge at the present time.

The fed jail is in a different location ... but you are close on many points. :)

Is that the formation by Errol, New Hampshire, or is it another one?

There are like a half dozen seperate formations like this in Errol.

Yeah, I saw a few more while panning around.  That one appeared to me to be the most distinct and grid-like.

You might be interested to know, that that formation is not unique.  I've actually seen virtually identical features in several states.

I'm obsessed with satellite imagery... so I wanted to reply to this the other day, but didnt get around to it.  However, by amazing coincidence.... I stumbled upon 2 similar formations today, which prompted me to get back to you.  I found some more in Florida.  Specifically by Leesburg (right above Orlando).

If you zoom in on some of those circles, you can see concentric circles in some of them... in others, there's something almost like a blaze in the center--a couple of stripes radiating from the center of the circle.

I'm usually pretty good at identifying strange features via aerial imagery.... but this one has me a bit stumped.

Strange mining technique?.  Possible.  Many mining circles can be found worldwide via Google Earth, especially littering Canada...  However, usually mining circles are very asymetrical and randomly shaped.  Not really circles at all... just sort of odd shaped circles.   They don't make perfect circle patterns like the ones show in Errol, New Hampshire or in Leesburg Florida.

Strange logging technique?  Possibly. I kind of doubt it, but maybe Occams razor applies here. Such a logging technique makes little sense.  Why log in perfect circles, other than for aesthetic reasons of not simply clearcutting whole areas which may tend to piss people off.

Crop or forest circles?   Pretty far fetched, although it sure looks like thats what it is... I think Occam's razor may say otherwise.  Its probably some logging technique.

The ones in Florida almost guaranteed are not mining related.  The ones in Errol, NH are not as perfectly layed out and green as the Florida ones.  Their more 'dirty' so its possible it is mining related.... but the rez of the NHY photos sucks, so you cant really tell.

Yeah... but the NH photos are better than they were a few months ago.  Try zooming in over any non-urban areas in Pennsylvania or Vermont (I'm sure you already know what I'm talking about).

As you may know... the Google Earth maps of New Hampshire really suck.  Extremely low rez for whatever reason, and the images are extremely dark and green.... so its hard to see the NH circles close..... but if you want a better look at what these things look like, see the ones I found in Florida.

The rough GPS coordinates of the Florida circles are:

28 degrees 44'38.07" North
81 degrees 54'38.14" West

Theres also a second patch of circles right above the ones above.

Maybe someday, when the weather's nice, I'll take a trip up to the NH circles, but I can't guarantee that I'll be able to report on them with any degree of conclusiveness.  :)

Google has higher res satellite photos of Concord and Manchester, (but not the highest resolution seen out of state) but that's about it. Most of the rest of the state is the low res suck photos where you can't quite see anything.

Last Sunday I took a flight from Lebanon entirely up around the White Mountains and back across the north edge of Lake Winnipesaukee. The mysterious circles are all over the place up there. I'm still fairly sure they are some type of logging activity. I also saw at least one subdivision that looked something like this pattern, where each house had its own little cleared space. The mystery circles, however, appear to be empty inside.

I still don't figure why they would log in perfect circles.  It must take amazing precision to even achieve that, and for what ultimate purpose would that serve?

Again.... its a possibility... just wieeerd overall though.

There are strict regulations on logging requiring that they never clearcut and always replant, they do it in pattern formation so that there is never a group of land bigger than the maximum that has been cut.

There is a ton of logging in the white mountain national forest (a TON) and in NH state forests as well as non-state/federal land. It's the state's largest industry, you know. Most of it goes to Canada.

There are similar but larger patterns at 44 46' 48" N and 17 14' 14" W. Looks from the connectivity to be logging.
