Would you like me to repost the two songs I posted on the FSP forum? Or do I need to come up with fresh material?? I probably will anyway, sooner or later.? So much useless talent...? ;)

You have two?   :o
I only have one, and it's almost two years old.   ;D

My song is very easy to play and sing . . . A, G, & D.  (That's it.)
Can't get much easier than that.
If you like it, play it (or just sing along.)

Send it to me?  I wouldn't know what to do with it :)  I was just throwing out the idea (here cause someone told me Chris wrote folk songs).  Bring them to porcfest?

Here is a song I wrote. I stayed up half the night. Couldn't get it out of my head.
Kat, can you post MIDI files on your site? I have a copy of a Lord Franklin MIDI that could be included. The tune is very beautiful.

A Place I Call Liberty
(To the tune of Lord Franklin)

In every dream, there's one thing I see,
A special place in which I want to be.
It is a place I pray I will live to see.
A place I call Liberty.

I've often thought what this place would be,
Where you can be just what you want to be.
It wouldn't matter if you were not like me.
A place I call Liberty.

Where their's respect and civility,
And you have full rights to your property.
A place where trading markets are really free.
A place I call Liberty.

A place to build a community,
Of simple folk who just want to be free.
A place where you can teach your family.
A place I call Liberty.

Now if you dream of a world that's free,
We'll turn these dreams into reality.
We'll make a world that's built upon liberty,
A place we'll call Liberty.

Wow, Alan!  Yeah, if you send me a midi, I can get it up for you, so to speak.

I foresee a certain anatomical difficulty, so to speak.  ;D

;DYikes! Never a dull moment without comedy with this group!!!

John's song was awesome last year at the porc fest- remember it well, despite the beer intake.

Alan's reads well - but I don't know the melody, so this lullaby singin' Mama of four makes it up as I go along.

What about "talent night" at the porc fest? Maybe next year as the "docket is full" with events. I'll play tambourine to anyone's song...and sing along....

Cheers!
