I was checking out my profile stuff and I ran across this:These are the members currently ignoring you =Wow, a popular guy/gal!

So I was trying to figure out who had that screen name and I was wondering what I said wrong and my daughter says that phrase means I'm not being ignored, is that right?  Because I've never seen it there before.

Your daughter is correct.

Thanks, so do these sayings just suddenly appear on people's profiles?  What makes them appear?   :)

Frank you talk about Jason's Cannae speech.... you yourself can learn from it.

1.  Stop spewing the Georgist stuff.
2.  Be active.
3.  Find a new topic and enlighten us on it... I know you are well read.
4.  Then slowly as people learn from you... you can drop pearls of Georgist wisdom (if they indeed exist).

the only issue that seperates left libertarians from royal libertarians is what I write about...private enclosure of the natural and social commons without obligation to those you exclude is anti equal liberty...modern libertarians are on the wrong side of history on this and in bed with those who historically benefited from privilege (hence "royal").

why they can understand IP (enclosure of the social commons) as privilege that is anti equal liberty and not enclosure of the natural commons is beyond me...

the main point of jason's talk was that the only real dramatic progress that is made in the political world is by co-opting your opponent's concerns not by constant confrontation.

the "all taxation is theft" mantra and therefore we must get rid of all spending confrontation is going to result in the exact opposite of what is intended - we will end up with a broad-based tax scheme in NH...I  guarantee it.

Frank...I haven't read enough of your posts to know why you're smited more than anyone on here.  All I can say is that you remind me of one of those know-it-all-smarty-pants from my high school days that is more of a legend-in-his-own-mind than anything.  Most of what you write is gobbledygook to me, but then I'm not a liberty/constitutional/green/whatever scholar.  I hope to meet you someday so I can see if you're really just a regular guy.

I can tell you that when you meet him he is not only a 'regular guy' but a nice guy.

I look forward to meeting him, then.  I'll have to +1 both of you just because I can and it makes me feel good.  You see, in high school I was one of those "can't we all just get along"-type of people that always wanted to avoid conflict.

If Frank is a know-it-all-smarty-pants for sticking to the Georgist philosophy than that would make ALL of us know-it-all-smarty-pants for sticking to and promoting our own philosophies.

Sometimes it's not about your opinions, but how you state them.  I wasn't saying Frank IS a know-it-all-smarty-pants...I just felt like acting high schoolish and saying he SOUNDED like it!!!

I'm turning 48 in a week...I just felt like talking like a teenager again and name-calling.  Bear with me...I'm on the verge of a mid-life crisis here. :sad6:
