We're talking about doing Don Quixote this year for April 15th.  Russell would dress up like Don Quixote and joust with stuffed IRS agents outside the Keene IRS office.

Sounds fun. But won't someone who wears a funny blue uniform with weird shiny metal things on it misconstrue it as a threat of violence?

Also, April 15 is a Sunday, so if you want to be seen by the last-minute taxpayers, it may be best to do it on the 16th.

And here the 16th is Patriots day so the office is closed. Tax deadline is April 17th.

I know, Kat! I know!  ::)

Maybe we should do it three days in a row.

Three days in a row?! I have to work SOMETIME! I can't camp out in front of the IRS office!! There's no WI-FI!!!

Pat K

Will there be singing involved in this?  :)

Russell Kanning

Maybe we should plan this for a Thursday in Keene (during the 5 hours the IRS office is open).

What do you think about a week or 2 before april 15th?

Also I could head up the stairs with a lance or crooked sword. I could tilt at the irs windmill. :)

Will there be singing involved in this?  :)

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

John

Nice!

(I've been trying to call you, Jim.)  I sure hope all is well with you!

We visited the IRS building today, but I forgot to leave a note saying we were coming in April.

About the 16th:  What exactly is Patriots day?  You don't honor New England's football team I presume...
