Fed Trolls

I'm thoroughly sick of the fed trolls disrupting the Ed Brown thread.  I'm just not letting any new members on for a while.

Please, Kat.... new members are really important to the NH Freedom movement.
I hate to think even 1 person who might find their way here seeking liberty-loving friends would be blocked out for fear of Fed trolls.

The truly just have no need to fear trolls. Or Feds.

I vote to let 'em stay and let people keep joining. I enjoy the challenge of reading between the lines and hoping for a slip up.

You could probably put new posters on a probationary or moderated status until they have shown that they are not here to disrupt and divide.  I know that Ikonboard software allows that.  I'm not as familiar with the software that nhfree is using.

I agree with Kat. We invented this forum for us to hang out and plan things with our friends. We also try to accomodate new people, debating, and trolls, but sometimes it is distracting.

There are other forums for debate sessions.

The Brown thread was mostly for news and coordinating activity. I couldn't even ignore people effectively because they were being debated and quoted by so many of our regulars.

Some people have enough trouble keeping up with this forum, we don't need extra problems ... like newbies asking us to ban people .... and then throwing a fit when we ban them.

A lot of people joining the forum might be a result of all the [governatorvoice] Blogging and Digging  and whatnot going on![/governatorvoice].  Many may be genuine.

Maybe if they hang out here long enough, they will realize how pitiful they really are!

I'm a relative newbie so maybe I shouldn't have any say in this...but as irritating (and sometimes humorous) as the trolls were, or whatever you want to call them, I found some of the debate they incited interesting and enlightening.  The Brown thread was being hijacked, though, and that was really irritating.

I've learned a lot in the time I've been visiting this forum, and you guys do a great job moderating it.  I'd just hate to see people turned away.
