Well junk might be pushing it...

But if you have things you want to get rid of which an antique dealer might conceivably buy, maybe I would buy them from you with less hassle.  Think of me as a never ending garage sale customer and lemme know what you want to unload.

If nothing else, it will at least get some more commerce brewing on the site!

Hm, perhaps you should clarify: "old junk" :) I own virtually nothing that an antique dealer would want, unless he also dealt in stuff with lots of electronic components...

Dave Ridley

Here are some examples of the kinds of things I would probably buy if I liked the price:

Trading cards
old movie reels
star wars or star trek collectables
functioning pre 1990 video games or consoles
viewmaster reels or equipment
comic books
pre 1990 magazines.

So we don't neccessarily need to be talking ful fledged antiques here.

I'm not interested in furtniture type shtuffs however.

Yep, fresh out of all of the above. In fact, I don't think I have a pre 1990 ANYTHING...

Dude,

How about a bunch of nice Conan paperbacks in good shape, 7 or 8 volumes, I think, circa mid 70's?

I sense these transactions are structured partially to avoid government intrusion and taxes. We will have to shut down this part of the forum.

Not sure f I want to sale them, but I have nearly 50 Edgar Rice Bouroughs (Ace) paperback books.  Is that the type of things ya lookiing for?

Dada:  I have about a half dozen/dozen Star Wars toys/figures from when the first Star Wars movie was released.  They're packed away and I never thought of selling them, but I'd consider it.  Note: They're not in original packages.  PM me if you want.

Dave Ridley

sending offers on the books...thanks guys!

Dave Ridley

sent offer on the figures also...   keep posting yer old shutffs  here folks!

I probably will not offer the best price you could get but am a lot more convenient and non time consuming than ebay or a garage sale.

Hey i like junk too.  When i move to NH, I want to get into refinishing old furniture,  If anyone has some pieces, that you dont care for, just for the experience, Id love to refinish them.  Taking donations of old dressers, tables and such.  i have finished some floors, and custom cabinets.  But this is after I move, or when my butt feels better, whatever comes first!

Broke ass Beth, aka, Beth busted Buns...  the list goes on and on!!  >:D

Not true, you can slur words, make offensive jokes and blame it all on the painkillers! ;D  See there is more you can do. Want me to come up with some other ideas?  Watch soap operas and tell everybody your life sucks compared to soap opera actresses, if you have kids they can wait on you, come up with all different ways to increase your odds of winning the lottery and then there's always boring crossword puzzles as a last resort.
I'm the biggest pain in the ass (no pun intended) when I hurt myself, my family gets pissed at me. 8)
