The Trailer for "V for Vendetta"  Reminded me of the book Black Arrow.

I haven't been to a movie other than kids' movies in years. I think I'll go see this one.  ;D

The Island!!!

That movie is a spychip, Big Brother, totalitarian, dystopian nightmare.   :o

But it's worth watching for the ending.  :)

Aw, I just watched that the other night and I was disappointed.  Too much action, not enough story.  Maybe if they'd kept the clone aspect a secret in the marketing...

Yet another reason why Texas sucks: you won't be seeing it on opening night with 21 libertarian friends.  ;D

I am definatly going to see this movie.  I saw a trailer for it on Spike (how I do love that channel in the afternoon) and the line that got me was "The people shouldn't fear their government, the government should fear her people"  I thought "huh?  Hollywood say something like THAT?!?  This I HAVE to see."  So far, the speculation runs from possibly good to bad to worse, but I don't care, it still looks good.  Although they did change the setting from England to the USA.  I guess it's not exactly "in the future" anymore for England.  Looks good. ^_^  Anyone else going to see it Friday?

Dreepa

I think a group is going to see it on Fri night.
PM Joel or Sandy for details.
