Thanks. I feel a lot better about some of this now.

Dreepa

I always thought it was weird that Ed would let anyone in his house.... esp people he never met before.

Critter183

I'm am relieved myself.

But I still don't know if this should be out front, or not. In some ways I think it should be out front. But what if I am dead wrong? And what if Ed really needs this guy there, and I screw that up?

But then what if I am dead right? Do you have idea idea of the moral dilema I face with this? lmao!

What I do know is that I looked Ed in the eye in his garage, shook his hand, and I pledged to him that I am with him on this all the way. I wish someone who knows better than me could resolve the whole thing, and tell me the best way to proceed.

You should do the right thing and give Ed Brown the domain name.

Funny you should mention that. That is another reason I am suspicious, because I tried a dozen times to give the whole setup to Ed and the guy in question refused it. Ed can't administer it himself apparently. And Peace refused it.

I offered them the keys to the whole site to do with it what they wished, and no one wanted it.

Well now it is too late. I will not turn it over to Peace no matter what.

I will however turn it over to a third party who pledges that it will never be administered by Peace, and only if Ed himself requests it.

All that need be done is Ed call me and say he wants me out and I am out. But Peace will not get it. Ed can reach me through the host of his radio show today.

Critter make sure you see Post # 17.

I did and responded, but wish to ad the following:

Here is the chronology...

I caught wind of this case and immediately wanted to pitch in and do my part. I know what I can do and I know I can help.

I make numerous attempts to make contact with Ed through his phone number and email addresses posted on the blogs initially covering this. None of my attempts were returned.

I figured they must be swamped up there with calls, emails etc, and hopefully they will get back to me when they get a chance. In the mean time, I figure let me get something worked up so we don't lose precious time. One thing I do know is that if you are getting media attention, you need to take advantage of it, and have an easy place for people to find. EdBrown.Org fit the bill and was available by good fortune.

I registered it and set up a hosting account on my server, and put up a bare bones blog, forum and chatroon. I continued to try and make contact to no avail. My full intention was to turn over whatever they wanted. Just the domain, fine, it's theirs. The whole site, fine it's theirs. I'll even host it if they want. No problem.

When finally I did get in touch with someone there the offer was turned down.

What else can I say?

I will say that the people who have been involved with this site from its conception are rock solid.

Look, I can't afford to get into a pittling contest with you. You have insulted me quite a bit thus far, but do you really think Peace's credentials are rock solid? The member ignoring Peace is not me, btw.

Do you really know who Peace is? He's hardly an old-timer around here.

I'm curious why you're so down on somebody who came here to tell his side of something that had been reported about him.

Actually, if you read back to the beginning of this thread, I just came here to plug edbrown.org. It was not until I was firmly asked to tell my side of the story that I spoke of it. I would much rather have let it go. Or rather, I know Ed is aware of my feelings, and hashing it out in public any further does no one any good, I don't think.

Yeah, we did have good timing though, didn't we? lmao!

I like your site. What you have said makes sense.
Peace was just thinking that you wanted to have some sort of control over things. I think he is mistaken somewhat. We might as well all try to get the word out about Ed vs. the IRS.
Ed is not that net savvy. That is why you are the one going with the web site and why he has not wanted the keys.
I also do not understand how/why Ed has people stay or leave his home. I try to stay out when I visit. :) But "Peace" is there and is doing what he can and Ed is fine with it.
I also did not know Anthony before last month. This forum has the advantage of so many of us knowing each other in the real world. It takes us a while to get to know people. I told "peace" to post as much as possible for people to get used to him. :)
I think we will always have communication problems if we wait or rely on Ed to let us know what is going on. His message and methods are not simple or sometimes even consistent.

What I expected my role to be in this was to be a servant. You tell me what I need to put out there, I will get it out there. That is the way I do what I do.

I am not an expert in commanding standoffs with the doj and irs, but I do know how to make a website and how to take advantage of main stream attention.

It is nice though to hear a voice of reason for a change though. Thanks. :)

Any info I have will be posted on this forum or at the http://keenefreepress.com website.

I have been putting up what I know and links to others whether they support Ed or are attacking him.

Critter183

Any chance we can get you to post stuff on a yahoo group? There are few if any members yet, but we are hoping to make it a nationwide source for webmasters and bloggers to get the latest.

I absolutely cannot stand Yahoo groups. If something's on one, I will simply refuse to participate.

Critter183

Can you suggest something better?

(hey, who enabled a spell checker on me? lol! It wasn't turning my spelling errors yellow earlier. lmao!)

Back to the subject... really, if there is some better way to do this, please let me know. I thought about maintaining our own mailing list, but I've never really set one up before.
