I sent my Harvard transfer application Wednesday. I'll send my New Hampshire schools (Plymouth State, Keene State) applications (I've already started the process at both schools, now I just need to send one more transcript) next week, but I figure if I want to accomplish big things, I want to aim for the biggest school in the nation.

If you get in to Harvard, you'll have to hook up with Amanda

Amanda?

Who's Amanda?

Former FSP president Amanda?

I was actually accepted at Harvard many, many moons ago, :o but I did not attend.

I thought it was very drab.

Whenever I heard "Harvard," I imagine an individual who is looking at you with the bridge of their nose parallel to the floor, speaking through their teeth, going, "I've gone to Haaaaah-vaaaaaaahd."

Eques, because of you I have not been able to get enough of the South Park Goobacks episode, specifically the part where you quoted in a recent thread.

You know the part I'm talking about ;)

Actually, Dartmouth is another school I'd like to apply to...

Best of luck wherever you go.  :)

Hey Joey,

What are you grades like?
I mean can you get into Harvard or did you just waste the application fee?

aries

Will you be commuting to Harvard or living there, assuming you get in?

A well written application essay, letter of intent and resume mean more than grades to the super-selective schools. I know McGill isn't as prestigious as an Ivy League, but it's rather selective, and I got in with a slightly below-average GPA, and no SAT scores. However... I sort of regret not going because Plymouth is a joke it's so easy.

My grades suck (C average), but I'm using my resume and all of my political campaigns and political/journalism experience to try to get in.

However, my real, real, real favorite school (if Harvard falls through) is Plymouth.

But out of state tuition is going to hit me hard. $22,000 at PSU, but $40,000 at Harvard. Yikes.

Good thing I file independently on my parents' taxes.
