Does anyone believe that UFOs and aliens exsist?

Given the distance between star systems, the time required for a society to evolve to the state capable of forming advanced technology, and the universal speed limit, coupled with the near certainty that neighboring star systems are devoid of any advanced civilizations, (as indicated by a lack of radio transmissions from such systems,) I doubt very much that we have been visited by alien biological life forms, or that we will ever be visited anytime within the next billion years or so.

1)  I believe in life outside of the earth.  I just don't think it has reached us yet, and probably never will.
2)  I am not certain that UFO phenomenon are best interpreted as visits by alien life forms.

What do you mean by your second answer?  I'm not being sarcastic I just want to understand it.

I was thinking about it and not because of that video link, I don't even know if that guy's credentials are real and actually just because someone has credentials doesn't mean they are telling the truth (there I go rambling).
Okay back to my thinking...when I watch these people that say they've been abducted by aliens or have seen ufos they seem so sincere, don't they?
If there is life outside of earth why couldn't/wouldn't it try to reach us, aren't we sending shuttles out there to see if there's anything?
I watched the creepiest dvd ever called Commander X, (I think that's  the name) and if what this guy is saying is true it is terrifying.  Have you heard of Commander X?

I've missed you posting!  So many "credible" people that have risked their jobs by coming out and saying that they've seen ufos, I don't know.  Some people think that it is the government sending out holograms to make us believe we've seen ufos so they can convince us that we're being attacked someday as a way of controlling everyone.  Lots of theorys, always!

On the 17th, right?  If so I can't, remember my sister-in-law is coming down.  I asked her to please come with us but she flat out refused so I can't just leave her here after she's coming from Florida to see us.
Rick is getting my son this weekend, he was supposed to get him on the 24th but Jon is driving Laura ,(oldest daughter), nuts so Rick is bringing him home tomorrow.  Rick just called to let me know he is at Laura's now.
I am so upset with Jon, this is going to be a tough time for us. Remember that I was happy he was coming home?  He's pulled so much sneaky stuff I've been finding out about that I am just disgusted with him right now.

I saw your other posts about your son coming home, but didn't get a chance to chime in.  I'm sorry Jon's causing you so much grief.  I'm pretty close to someone who had a similar issue with his now adult son.  What I learned from observing that situation is that you reach a point where you have to put your foot down and say, enough is enough and ask your child to leave the house and find his own way...because his behavior is negatively affecting the rest of the family. 

As a mom, I know that's easier said than done. 

I hope that Jon's behavior improves once he returns to your house.  Let me know if you need some moral support...

The guy in the video doesn't come across as credible.  57 species of aliens?  He suggests that he has detailed knowledge of this stuff, but he was just some enlisted guy who once upon a time was ordered to a "crash site" where, if he was telling the truth about that, probably saw charred remains of some dead pilots.  I think it is more likely he is just making it all up.  Does the military routinely brief their sargents who have incidental contact with alien crash sites with such detailed program information?  Doesn't seem likely.

This guy is a just some UFO nut looking for attention.  The UFO "community" has a library of accepted lore about what aliens look like, when they've been here, and why they're here, complete with detailed conspiracy theories about government cover up.  As a result, you'll find remarkable consistency between the stories of one UFO nut and the next.  Every religion has its myths.

You are totally right if it gets that bad with Jon we will have to tell him to  leave.  It will break my heart but it's better than Jon breaking up his family.  I didn't realize I had this much resentment and worries over him coming home but the past "issues" with him have been in the front of my mind and I've realized how peaceful and normal it has been for all of us since he left.  I know that sounds harsh, I love him so much I just can't stand his lies and thougtlessness (wonder if that's a real word).  I just got out of the hospital for my hernia surgery and I crawled up the stairs in so much pain , got into bed and he tells me he's leaving!  How's that for total selfishness?  Now he's ready to come back home and Rick  should just go get him?  Jon asked if he'd be allowed to smoke in the van on the way home with Rick, I said, "ask dad but you'll probraly have to just get out and smoke at rest areas".  He asked Laura if she could get him a pack of cigarettes a couple nights ago and she said, "you owe me  $70 and I'm gonna get you cigarettes, get out of my face". If you followed the other post I had about my dilmena with Jon you read the good side of him too, (when I started crying),  so I know that's there I just hope to see more of that than this yucky side.
Gosh, I should've just called you , look at this long post! I'm going to pm you about the dentist stuff (don't worry , I'll make it short).  I've missed talking with you, we really didn't get a chance to at the last meeting.  Rick says you and I are a good match for becoming really good friends.
Uggh, Rick took the van so I have to go walk all the way down to the road to check the mail now, I will be so pissed if it's empty!
