What is the best moisturizer for feet

I have never ever had dry feet until we moved here!

I use a file, a rotating sander thing (forget what they're called), and rub lotion on my feet 20 times a day!  None of this is working!  Is it the cold weather?  My feet used to be baby soft and I hate this!

I don't have dry skin anywhere else except my hands but I just put lotion on them a few times a day and they're fine.  I drink tons of water too.

Some lotions are more water than others. I like the thick greasy stuff for feet. Eucerin? Wear socks. Every once in awhile take a foot bath and really pickle em up. That's when you can scrape dead skin best. Pat them a little bit but don't rub them too dry before you grease them up and put socks on.

Use a lotion with a lot of glycerin.  I buy this stuff that a pharmacist in Lancaster used to make (I think the pharmacist has since opened his own make-your-own drugs/lotions/creams -- his name is David Rochefort)...maybe in Littleton now?

After lathering them up with the glycerin, put on socks.  I also found that the eczema cream they sell at Hannaford in the health food/organic aisle really works well.

I've been buying the lotion just for feet (3 different kinds, all different ingredients) and they haven't worked.  I do wear socks but I don't soak my feet so I will try that , thanks!  So I  shouldn't  rub them after a foot soak and then put the lotion and socks on?

Coconut oil might not be a bad idea either.  I know they charge alot at the health food stores but now Walmart has it in the cooking oil aisle for $2 something.  I like to use that on my face at night and I guess it's working because I don't have dry skin there.  I'm going to start some laundry,(little Ricky just left) and look through my raw books in a few minutes.

burts bee's has a great foot lotion with coconut oil and pepermint, its yummy!!  put it on and go to bed with socks on!!  or a real good organic cold pressed high grade olive oil is an excellent moisturizer, again, put it on and sleep with socks.  Try a foot bath too, with goats milk, and oatmeal.  Good luck, that sucks to have dry skin..  Because i broke my tailbone, i cant bend over and put lotion on my feet.....and i dont want to wear out my bf, he has been great!

well its a fractured tailbone from a snowboarding accident i had 2 weeks ago!  Its healing slowly..  but thanks!!!  Im starting to do things on my own, like walk!

I take a nail brush and scrub the feet in the shower, or you can soak them in a tub of water, then as soon as I am out, slather with the lotion and put on two pr socks so the bed won't get all slimy...

A few treatments like this help.

Wow, I'm glad I posted this question, there is help after all, thanks!  I hope your healing well!  I'd ask him to do it anyway, poor you , this has got to be really rough on you.
By the way, I took your advice (and everyone elses) and have a second opinion for my dental problem.  They were surprised when I asked about gettting a valplast partial, thanks for the inside scoop!

Rick hates when I wear socks to bed but I've been telling him too bad.  I use Gold bond powder and I love it, I didn't know they had a lotion. Thanks!   Poor Rick he got hit with more than my feet.  Two times I had a nightmare and slapped him across the face while the poor guy was sleeping.

When Don and I got together, I told him if he wanted to sleep with me, he'd better do something about those feet. He has religiously lotioned his feet every day for 16 years or so now.

I didn't mean to wear the socks forever...    You want nice smooth feet to make footsies with. I like nothing better than to have my toes massaged!
