As a side note, use to work with three other engineers who names were, Howard Johnson, John Smith and Howard Hughes.

One time they had to go to a  seminar and the sec had reserved each a room. 
When they got to the hotel, there was no rooms.  The desk clerk had thought it was a joke and did not make the reservations.  From then on when they needed rooms, they were H. H Johnson, J.A. Smith and H. R. Hughes.    ;D

I get a weekly Genealogy news letter every week.  It has a humor section that is usually something funny someone found in a census report or marriage notice like, 'Mary Oak to marry John Tree'
