QuoteI'll pay more to go to an irving station because theyre always giving away free stuff

Man are you confused - when you pay more to get "free stuff" that stuff ain't free!

In Milford, I usually get my gas at Cumberland Farms because they are the cheapest that I pass by (I just drive thru to get to work). In Hillsboro, close to home, I get gas at Irving. In Concord, where I have classes and my husband works, there is a Shell station on rt. 106 that is usually cheaper than most other stations.

I have never had any problems with gas from any of these places.

The Gulf station on Granite Street in Manchester usually has the lowest price around. I like Irving - and they seem to usually be pretty cheap - but there isn't one convenient for me.

As for the quality thing - all but Chevron are likely to be the exact same gas - the supplier that fills the Gulf station also fills the 7-11, etc.

Right--so I guess the question is better rephrased:

Which gas stations in NH have the best fuel additives?  Or, possibly--which gas stations are commonly perceived as having the best quality?

Everyone except Chevron has essentially the same additive package.  Some differences, but similar quality.

AFAIK, Shell is the only brand sold in New Hampshire that meets the voluntary TOP TIER standard. Planet Gas in Keene was a Texaco station until last year. I'm not sure if there are any other Texaco (now part of Chevron) stations in The Shire.

Why Boycott Citgo? BP is owned by British Petroleum and Shell is Dutch. No matter which way you slice it we're giving money to people who don't have out best interests at heart, unless you're making your own gas in the backyard.

Anybody boycotting Citgo because they are essentially owned by Hugo Chavez?

I am.

Yes, but at least they're not Hugo Chavez.

In response to Bush's visit to Latin America, Chavez said that capitalism is the road to hell, and the only way to have heaven is through socialism.

I don't use Citgo anyway. That's reason enough to not start.

Bush and Chavez are silly men.

Men!  That's all they are!

Men, of course, with the rank & file backing them up.  :P

I'd post my lockstep gif again, but I don't want to overdo it.  ;D

I don't insist that others have my best interests at heart.  I'd vastly prefer if everyone kept his own best interests at heart, and left it at that.  Rational self-interest will go a long way.

But I draw a line at financing communists.  Communism seeks the destruction of all life.  It has no one's best interests at heart.  It seeks to do nothing but blindly destroy.
