Lean Manufacturing and/or Electronics Manufacturing

Currently, I am working at an electronics manufacturer that is considered a "lean manufacturing" company. Basically means that less machines are involved, if I'm understanding things right (I've never worked for a normal manufacturing company). I'm saving up and getting experience here so that when I move to NH, I can find a job that'll pay me decently (~12$/hr + benefits) for this type of work.

Does anyone know what cities would be best for this type of work, and/or any companies I might want to look into? Thanks.

While looking at a product line we're going to carry, I saw that Lupine Pet, manufacturer of collars and leads in North Conway, is a "lean manufacturer".
