Well, now Russell is deprived of salsa.

That's cruel and unusual punishment!!

Insurgent

Tonight I tried using it in baking; poured it over some chimichangas and shredded cheese over the top. The results were quite favorable!

Kat, you're coming on Saturday? Cool. I plan to be there, too. I know you've got a lot going on right now, but if you have the time to make up one container I'd be much obliged. Same intensity, just half the quantity  :)

Another stunning batch! I'm hopelessly addicted...will never be able to go back to store-bought salsa again  :)

Kat Kanning

Glad you're enjoying it.

I think I charged Ron too much the other day.  Not been in my right mind...

Insurgent

There's good reason why you may not have been in your right mind lately--your husband is in jail for no reason

Kat Kanning

Oh!  I knew something was missing around here.

If that was too much, then just consider it a down payment on the next batch  ;D

Of course there's a reason.  He was endangering everyone on the road by not having a driver's license!  Didn't you know that those cards actually emit a forcefield that can deflect oncoming cars in the event of a collision?  It would be like bumper cars out there if most people didn't have licenses in their wallets! ::) :o ???

Kat: Denise was wondering if you do green (tomatillo) salsa?

Joe

Kat Kanning

No.  I don't think I've even seen tomatillos in the store here.

PassionatePantherrr

Ok, we've been able to get them (tomatillos) at our local Hannaford, and last summer, we were able to get them from the farmer's market in Deerfield, from the organic farmer. I'm also thinking of growing some on our property, we'll see how long it takes to start them from seed this year. :-) Maybe we can work out a tomatillo supply at some point. Green salsa is soooo tasty.

That's a relief; Kat had me scared. I mean, what's life without green tomato relish, or tomatillos for salsa?

Pat K

It ain't easy being Green.
Just ask Kermit.
