Just in case some aren't on the MVP Yahoo group:

In February, the Merrimack Valley Porcs voted to move the meeting to T-bones restaurant.  T-bones was booked when I tried to reserve the meeting room, so the meeting place for the month of March is............

Newick's seafood Restaurant on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack!

Just like T-bones, they have great parking, and a large (130 people+) room for us.  Also, they will let us order on separate checks AND off the main menu, two things T-bones would not.

We've got the LARGE meeting room all to ourselves from 12-3.

As I said in my Yahoo group post, I'm very sorry that I couldn't throw this decision up for a group vote, but my nightmare was not getting any on-line consensus in time to find ANY room to meet.  Once people check it out, we can decide as a group if we want to continue meeting there or not, after this month.

I specifically did NOT ask the management about open carry, since I was running out of meeting options and didn't want any reason for them to say no.  I figure we can meet there at least once, show the owners we're good guys and that they can trust us, BEFORE bringing up the issue which caused a few other owners to not want to work with me.

The address is: 696 Daniel Webster Highway, and a google map link is all of:

Basically you go south on Daniel Webster from Manchester and after about 5-10 minutes, it's on the right, sitting by itself.

Since this is a change from last meeting's decision, PLEASE LET EVERYBODY KNOW!  I don't want any Porcs left in the cold!

My cell if someone has questions that day is: 603-203-8564.

Thanks a bunch,
Shuvom

This is a very good place....food is good, not that expensive, service is friendly and it's spacious and easy to park.

If they don't allow open carry, certainly you can conceal?

JonM

I heard about a place opening in Manchester in mid April that will happily allow open carry . . .

Shuvom -

You should contact T-Bones and let them know what happened and ask them to direct people to Newick's if they show up at T-Bones.

Big enough?
According to the owner when I talked to him at NHLF.

Kool!  I  just assumed a 'starter'  bar might be small ;D
Well if you have the chance to make a meeting room big enough for the largest porc group in the state, you would, wouldn't you?

Lloyd Danforth

Yes, but, ya need enough civilians to pay for the square feet the rest of the time

JonM

Well then we should go there at other times, so long as the food and beer are good.  I have few doubts about the beer selection, let's hope they have someone who can cook!

Quantrill is looking for a place to stay in the Manchester area. Maybe he'd like the position as "houseboy"  ;)

LOL I was joking about a 'permanent' one...but that is in the works... heh.

Quantrill

I could take a position as "houseboy" in exchange for a place to stay.  Although I must admit I am worried as to what all the position would require...     :o
