John Stossel promised Irena that if she got him the two most impressive clips of NH CD, he would watch them.
Who knows, it may pique his interest, but all he promised to do is watch.

"Outlaw Manicurist" is the one he expressed an interest in, so that's the first one.
I know there's one on YouTube, but it's low-rez and pretty short.
If anyone has any other/better footage, please let me know ASAP.

Also, I'd appreciate it if someone would post a poll... let's have the community pick the second video.

Ruger Mason

WMUR is an ABC affiliate, so Stossel should be able to get all of their video.

Video exists, unedited.  I believe it's in the hands of Sean in Keene, but he was unable to access it because of file format.

I recall Dada had a (borrowed if I recall) video camera that day.
Also, need to look at the stills to see if someone else had video camera.  I'm thinking some else may have.

But yes WMUR/ABC.

And if Stossel is thinking of doing a piece on it, the political cartoon in the following day's Union Leader might be a usable image.

Another thing he said would earn a story is if we passed a significant marijuana policy reform.  I'm for focusing on the future (although I'm sure he'd enjoy the old manicure video).  News is supposed to be timely, and, uh, Mike Fisher isn't in New Hampshire anymore...

I don't know who Sean is. I'm happy to convert file formats, that's not an issue.
Can someone contact him?

I'm for focusing on the future
Me too, but he specifically asked about this one.

Well, you sure as hell aren't living in the past!  Yes, he did ask, and should receive.

When you're doing issues, such as on 20/20, it doesn't necessarily have to be something that just happened two hours ago.

Here is a draft of something I've had on the back burner -for way too long.
It feels like the heat just got turned back up.

DRAFT - by John Connell:
I know a thin young man who's made of granite
Nothing fancy here, but handsome and quite strong
One day the Gods were feeling rather generous
So they skipped this thin young man across our pond

And the peaceful ripples move in all directions
Every time that Michael touches down
Then he skips along, sending out so many more
Until we see where victory will be found

When Michael first touched down in old New Hampshire
There was talk of revolution in the air
And we all saw Michael Fisher take quick notice
That too many had much anger, and much fear

So Michael skipped his way on up to Concord
And with him was a pretty girl named Kat
They both gave public notice, of what they were going to do
And they announced, they had no license to do that

And the peaceful ripples move in all directions
Every time that Michael touches down
Then he skips along, sending out so many more
Until we see where victory will be found

Kat and Michael made the front page of the papers
And they made it to the TV's evening news
With their awesome, brave and peaceful demonstration
They cleared a peaceful path, that many other choose

Michael Fisher is a man of truth & honor
We know Liberty & Justice are his ends
His ways are peaceful, Non-cooperation
And from these simple ways he never bends

You are getting more poetic, John
The skipping stone is a great analogy.

All the evidence keeps pointing back to Sean, who I don't think I've met.
Can someone shoot me his email?

John

Review of my stills indicates only Dada and WMUR with video cameras.
