Should I get an NH Driver's License?

My license is good until 2010.  What does everyone think?  I guess when it's time to register my car I'll need to get an NH DL?  From one of the previous threads, it sounds like Rochelle had some problems with the DMV.  Would I be able to get a P.O. box with my Missouri ID?

you guys are gonna get me arrested aren't you!   :)

Since my current DL is legal for 3 more years I see no reason to get a new one.  But knowing my luck there's prolly some cheesy law that will have me incarcerated for 6 months for not getting everything switched over to The Shire...

Yes, bow and submit to your new State. That's why you're moving, right?

I haven't carried a driver's license since 1999. This hasn't in the least stopped me from driving at any available opportunity.

I haven't registered any personal conveyances since 1998. That, also, hasn't in the least stopped me.

(The fact that I don't currently OWN one, however, has...)

The hardest part of registering my car, etc in NH was  getting the license, just because they wanted EVERYTHING from me.

Now, they SAY that you should make every effort to get your NH license within ___ number of days of registering your car here. But I can't really say if they follow up on that because I don't know.

Legally?

It's 60 days.

I've been here going on 4 months, and nobody's stopped me yet.

I still have NJ tags, however... I haven't been brave enough to roll without those.

I had no problem getting a PO Box.  I think I ended up showing my NJ ID (I wasn't really thinking it through at the time), which is kind of odd given that you wouldn't have to do so if you had a regular street address.

I don't have a NHDL and haven't registered my car and haven't gotten it the required state inspection.  I have gotten pulled over 4 times and 3 tickets for no registration since Dec.

Yesterday was the most recent event.  I was between Clairmont and Plainfield going to Ed Brown's place.  The state trooper asked for my license and registration and I just said I didn't have any.  I wouldn't answer any more questions.  He just gave me a ticket for no registration and let me go.

Watch this thread for future reprocussions.

Jeebus, Tackle!

If/when I get stopped, this would be the optimal outcome! Make sure to thank your guardian angel! :)
